I have a problem with my magazine collection where I have wasted hours looking for a project that I have seen in one of my magazines. I have almost all of the Inspirations magazines as well as a small collection of Enbroidery and Cross Stitch and Quilting magazines. I have started a catalogue of projects which I thought may help other people as well, whether you have your own collection of these magazines or are searching for a particular issue...

ImageI was inspired by Aiwa-9 to make a gorgeous little Nyanko burger which was gifted into a new home. Felt craft is a great way to spend an evening. It is quick to make and you see the results almost instantly.

Difficulty: Easy
Time: 4 hours

Each piece is constructed separately out of different coloured felt with small embellishments. It is a simple matter for most pieces to cut circles from felt (I used a paper circle as a guide) then stitch together with matching cotton thread and lightly stuff with soft toy stuffing.
The tomato has two applied kidney shapes on each side with small detached chain stitch to represent the tomato seeds.

The cat head is constructed and embellished then attached to the burger patty. I used two black beads for the eyes. The top of the burger bun is also cat head shaped.

The pieces are the burger bun, lettuce, tomato, cheese and the burger patty with a cat head. Each piece can be arranged to form the bun as you wish.

Nyanko is a character by San-x from Japan.
